Al Silva is Of Counsel in the firm’s Dallas office, where his practice concentrates on commercial litigation. Prior to joining Hartline Barger LLP, he represented several Fortune 500 companies in matters ranging from intellectual property to contract disputes to antitrust litigation.

Mr. Silva’s legal career has been punctuated by challenges aimed at gaining a broader perspective of the entire judicial process. He clerked for a California Superior Court judge, served as a visiting professor, worked as an assistant district attorney, spent decades in two large law firms, and even maintained a solo practice.

Mr. Silva has been heavily involved in various legal and community services projects, twice having served as president of the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association.
