Casey Fitch

Of Counsel

Casey was born in Albuquerque and raised in Socorro, known to many as the rest stop between El Paso and Albuquerque. During his senior year of high school, he was an exchange student in East Germany after the Berlin Wall fell. Between his undergraduate studies at UC Davis and law school in Seattle, Casey served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bulgaria.

Casey’s sixteen-year career has been split between representing clients and working on the other side of the bench. On the judicial side, Casey was a law clerk to District Judges David Lawson and Thomas Ludington of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New Mexico; Circuit Judge Richard Tallman of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Casey also worked as a career clerk for United States Magistrate Judge Kevin Sweazea in the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico.

Most recently, Casey held judicial office as a district judge for New Mexico’s Third Judicial District. In private practice, Casey was an associate and later a partner with Holt Mynatt Martinez, P.C. in Las Cruces, NM where he resides.

Outside of the law, Casey and his wife Mia enjoy renovating homes and keeping up with their three bulldogs. They have two adult children that live in the Dallas metroplex.
