Christina Ta


Christina graduated with honors from SMU Dedman School of Law and was inducted into the Order of Barristers as one of the top advocates of her graduating class. Before SMU, she attended the University of South Carolina and received a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Biology. She also attended Sarah Lawrence College where she received a Master of Fine Arts in Writing. Christina has worked as a student attorney for the Judge Elmo B. Hunter Legal Center for Victims of Crimes Against Women, representing human trafficking victims, and she has also worked as a legal intern for the Department of Justice: Executive Office of Immigration Review. At SMU, she served as an executive officer on the Science and Technology Law Review and as a director on the Board of Advocates. Christina worked with Hartline Barger as a summer associate before joining the team officially in 2021.
