Jennifer DeVlugt


Jennifer is an associate in the firm’s Dallas office. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation and construction law, products liability, premises liability, and appellate litigation.

Jennifer graduated magna cum laude from Baylor University School of Law, serving on the board the Baylor Law Review as Senior Technical Editor.  Jennifer also actively participated in advocacy activities at Baylor Law School, and was a member of the Order of the Barristers.  In her first year, she and her teammate won second-place team overall and best first-year team, in the Dawson & Sodd, P.C. Moot Court Competition.  After this competition, Jennifer went on to be a Semi-Finalist in the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition and serve on the Wechsler First Amendment Moot Court Team.  Additionally, Jennifer assisted in coaching the Baylor Undergraduate Mock Trial Teams.

Also during law school, Jennifer interned with Judge Martin Hoffman of the 68th District Court in Dallas and with Judge Walter Smith of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. After law school, Jennifer served as a briefing attorney for the Eleventh Court of Appeals in Eastland, Texas.
