Michael began his law career as an attorney for the Public Defender’s office where he gained invaluable trial experience. He  has practiced in the areas of personal injury, commercial litigation and construction defect litigation and tort defense since beginning his civil practice ten years ago. He is a native New Yorker but loves calling Albuquerque home. Michael received his law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2009. He was awarded Honors in Clinical Law for outstanding performance in the clinical law program and was a member of the Tournament of Champions Mock Trial Team in November of 2008. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of New Mexico, graduating magna Cum Laude. Mr. Smith is admitted in New Mexico state and Federal court and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
