Rasha divides her practice between labor and employment litigation and compliance and personal injury and premises liability defense. Rasha began her career at an employee-side labor and employment firm, where she represented plaintiffs in cases involving federal and state discrimination and retaliation, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Texas Workforce Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Occupational Health and Safety Administration, the National Labor Relations Act, breach of contract, non-competition agreements, and other statutes and regulatory bodies. Rasha’s background as an employee-side attorney has been an advantageous experience, which she draws on in counseling her clients and during litigation.

Alongside her litigation work, Rasha also leads clients through severance negotiations, early case resolution, as well as internal compliance and training programs. Rasha has presented on the topics of sexual harassment and implicit bias to various associations and human resources organizations, as well as provided sexual harassment training to employers and their employees.

Rasha takes pride in her relationship with her clients. She understands that an effective defense strategy is found in the details. From the beginning of each case, her aptitude for cutting through the noise to create a clear path forward. Whether it be aggressively representing her clients in litigation, or early case resolution, Rasha partners with her clients to determine the best way to meet their needs. Rasha’s unique background, client centric approach, and zealous advocacy, has earned her many recognitions, including the Avvo client choice award, the Texas Rising Star award in  2021 – 2023, and the Top 40 under 40 National Trial Lawyer award in both 2021 and 2022. Additionally, Voyage Dallas Magazine featured Rasha in its “Most inspiring stories in Dallas,” article, and Thompson Reuters featured Rasha on the cover of its 2022 Super Lawyers magazine.

Rasha graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law cum laude. During her time at Texas Tech University School of Law, Rasha demonstrated the ability to balance academic commitments and extracurricular activities. She excelled academically earning the Distinction Award in both the Study of Trial and Appellate Procedure and Criminal Defense. Rasha was also recognized as the 2017 Law Student of the Year by the National Jurist and the 2017 Graduating Law Student of the Year by the Lubbock Bar Association. She was inducted into the Who’s Who Among Law Students in American Universities and Colleges program. Rasha’s achievements and work ethic were recognized by many, earning her the Judge Lucius Bunton Endowed Scholarship, the Judge Meade F. Griffin Award, the Judge Ken G. Spencer Award, the Clifford W. Brown Lubbock Criminal Defense Lawyers Association Award, the Brendan Murray Criminal Defense Endowed Scholarship, and the Tim Cole Endowed Scholarship.

Rasha proudly represented Texas Tech University School of Law as an advocate. She served as the Director of Trial Advocacy for the Board of Barristers and competed in several mock trial and moot court competitions throughout the country. In her second year, Rasha won the National Southwest Mock Trial Competition and received the Hunt for Excellence in Advocacy Endowed Scholarship. Most notably, in her third year, Rasha was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers, a prestigious honor bestowed only upon eight students out of the entire graduating class.

Rasha is also a graduate of Texas State University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minored in Criminal Justice. While at Texas State University, Rasha competed on the Mock Organization of American States team, earning both the outstanding delegate and outstanding written statement awards.

Rasha is a proud Palestinian-American. She is fluent in Arabic and English.

Rasha is licensed to practice in Texas and is admitted to practice in all Texas state and federal courts. Rasha is a member of the Texas Bar Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, National Employment Lawyers Association, and Texas Employment Lawyers Association.
