Stu was born and raised in the New York City area and practiced there for 24 years before moving to Texas with his family in 2018.
Professionally, he’s represented both individuals and major corporations in New York and Federal courts, and briefed and argued over 100 appeals in New York, New Jersey, and a number of Federal Circuit Courts. Stu has nearly three decades of experience, and has handled case in diverse practice areas, including motor vehicle and trucking accidents, products liability, construction site accidents, premises liability, professional liability, directors and officers liability, insurance brokerage claims, and commercial litigation.
Stu is AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell, was a 2018 recipient of a Law360 Law Firm Distinguished Legal Writing Award, and was recognized as a New York Metro SuperLawyer from 2014-2020. He has published several articles and spoken about topics ranging from legal writing to legal careers. He has also been an adjunct professor of legal writing at the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law.
Outside of work Stu loves to stay active, and participates in Camp Gladiator workouts several mornings a week. When he’s not challenging himself athletically, Stu likes to spend time exploring Texas with his wife and daughters.
