Brian Sawyer draws on his years of experience in law and business to best represent his clients. Brian’s approach is to completely understand the factual and legal issues in controversy and each client’s goals in developing a litigation strategy. Each case is like a puzzle with moving pieces and Brian puts those pieces together to improve his client’s chances of success and to reduce his client’s risks. Brian works to thoroughly understand complicated technical, factual, and legal issues of each case so that he can simplify those issues so a jury can understand them. Brian uses this approach throughout the litigation process, from communications with his client to hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. Brian has extensive first-chair experience deposing parties, technical experts, and witnesses. Brian applies his deposition experience to prepare his clients factually and psychologically for deposition and trial testimony. Even when the facts are far from the best, Brian’s approach often leads to favorable outcomes for his clients. Brian has been repeatedly recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star Selectee and is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.

Brian has handled numerous lawsuits involving breach of contract, business torts, products liability, employment discrimination, and catastrophic injury and he has practiced in front of state and federal courts in Texas and across the United States. Brian has represented a broad range of clients, including commercial product manufacturers, retailers, oil and gas companies, hospitality clients, engineers, and other attorneys.
