John Dowling specializes in zealously defending businesses and individuals in civil disputes. His practice focuses primarily on personal injury litigation, including dram shop cases, premises liability disputes, automobile collisions, and general negligence cases. Whatever the liability may be, John brings dedication, proficiency, and a passion to provide legal prowess for his clients.
Born and raised in Connecticut, John obtained his bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University, magna cum laude. Upon graduating from Wake Forest, he began his legal career as a paralegal at a national law firm in New York City, where he worked on real estate finance transactions. This experience was integral to building a keen eye for detail, which transcends both transactional and litigation matters.
While in law school, he developed a passion for litigation as he worked for the Connecticut-based firm Cooney, Scully, and Dowling. With CSD, John gained significant insight into the art of defending businesses and individuals alike. His background in both transactional law and litigation has proved invaluable as the dual exposure has equipped John with the ability to provide comprehensive legal solutions for his clients. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law, cum laude.
