Courtney Stricklen is an attorney at Hartline Barger LLP whose practice focuses on construction and complex commercial litigation. She represents contractors, subcontractors, developers, and other project stakeholders in disputes involving construction defects, delay, and related claims. Clients rely on Courtney to quickly assess risk, cut through technical complexity, and develop strategies that align with both legal and business objectives.

Her practice includes handling multi-party construction disputes from early case evaluation through resolution. Courtney regularly analyzes project documents, contracts, and risk-shifting provisions to develop case strategy and position matters for efficient resolution through negotiation, motion practice, or trial. She has experience navigating high-exposure claims involving competing scopes of work, causation issues, and allocation of responsibility among project participants.

Before joining Hartline Barger, Courtney practiced in construction and commercial litigation, where she represented clients across a range of industries. This experience informs her practical approach and her ability to anticipate and address challenges that arise throughout the life of a project.

Courtney is active in her church community and enjoys spending time with her family.
