Homero Perez Franco Receives 2025 Outstanding Law Student Volunteer Award

Homero Perez Franco may have only been sworn in last week, but his legal career is already off to a noble start. The Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP) hosted its Pro Bono Awards ceremony Friday, October 24, where Homero received the 2025 Outstanding Law Student Volunteer Award. 

The Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program is an organization dedicated to increasing and enhancing pro bono legal services to low-income people in Dallas. These efforts would not be possible without the selfless volunteers, like Homero, who carve out time for this important cause.
