Supreme Court of Texas Sides With Hartline Barger Attorneys in “Latent Injury” Suit

In a case that reached the Texas Supreme Court, Hartline Barger partner Michael Terry of the firm’s Corpus Christi office secured a successful verdict on behalf of the firm’s client, the world’s largest oilfield services company.

As reported by Law360, the Supreme Court of Texas shot down claims against the firm’s client by a man who says he developed skin cancer from exposure to chemicals at a well site, ruling the trial court correctly found the claims had been filed too late and that an appellate court was wrong to try to revive them.
