Mary Jones is a Partner in the firm’s Albuquerque office. Mary has a wide-ranging practice, focused on litigation matters involving toxic torts, personal injury defense, professional liability, trucking and transportation, oil and gas defense, and products liability litigation. Mary takes a personal approach with clients at all stages – from emergency response and investigation, through discovery, and into case resolution or trial. She aims to foster a relationship of mutual trust and respect with every client, and prides herself on working closely with each client, on each case, to ensure maximum understanding, involvement, and outcome control.

Prior to joining Hartline Barger, Mary clerked for a federal District Judge and a federal Magistrate Judge in the District of New Mexico. This experience afforded her an inside-look at the judicial process and judicial decision-making. Mary also spent a year teaching English in Toyama, Japan.When she’s not working, Mary enjoys learning new languages, skiing, and spending time with her husband, child, and half basset hound/half golden retriever.
